Witnesses told Daily Voice that the driver, a woman believed to be in her early 70s, accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending the vehicle into the side of the popular Lawlins Road market around 3:15 p.m. Abma's Farm Market is part of a fifth-generation family farm that has operated in Wyckoff for more than 90 years. Hiker Rescued After Breaking Leg At Washington Overlook Park: West Amwell FD
A hiker at Washington Overlook Park had to be rescued after they broke their leg Saturday, June 6, authorities said. At 1:16 p.m., firefighters responded to the park and found the injured patient after hiking 1.5 miles, the West Amwell Fire Department said. Additional first responders went into the woods and established a staging area, cutting down several trees to facilitate passage, firefighters said. The patient was carried 200-yards before loaded onto a utility vehicle and transported to awaiting basic life support units, firefighters said. The condition of the patient is unknown.
