A quick thinking police officer and Good Samaritan helped rescue a man following a fiery crash in South Brunswick on Thursday, April 3, authorities said. At 3:52 a.m., officers responded to a car crash between a 2021 Jeep wrangler and a Honda on Route 1 north near Ridge Road, South Brunswick police said. Following the crash, the Jeep collided with a tree while a Honda came to rest in the right lane of the highway, police said. A 42-year-old man drove his pickup truck into the Niagara Gorge on Wednesday evening, April 2, according to the New York State Park Police. Oh, and he survived.
